John Hoover is a passionate Realtor® serving the Montgomery, Conroe, and The Woodlands areas of Texas. John graduated with a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from Texas A&M University, a master’s in counseling and higher education administration from East Texas State University, and worked toward an MBA at the University of Texas at Arlington. John earned his real estate license in 2014 and his broker license in 2019. He is finalizing his Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist certification sponsored by the Texas Association of Realtors®. John has bought and sold numerous homes and properties and strives to make the process as painless as possible for his clients. He loves working with all people, but his target demographics include investors, vacation homebuyers, transferees, and retirees.
John worked for over 30 years in international retail before deciding to move back to his native state of Texas. He built a home in Bentwater in 2010 before moving in 2014. He gained extensive knowledge and experience managing and leading facilities and buying teams and learned project management and the art of negotiation. He is goal-oriented, and his primary principles are service and integrity. He wanted to become a Realtor® because he is independent, competitive, and self-motivated.
John was first introduced to the real estate industry by his father, a real estate agent in Texas when John was in high school. John and his wife contribute $200 from each closed sale to a local charity, and over the past two years, this program has donated over $25,000 to Meals and Wheels Montgomery County. John lived in Guam and Hong Kong for 12 years, and because of that has learned to appreciate different cultures. His other interests include wine collecting, golfing, and cooking with his family.
