It’s no exaggeration to say that, since 2000, real estate has been Melissa Carnine’s life. She started as an assistant when she was 21, obtained her license shortly after that, and is now a married mother of two with real estate expertise firmly based on personal and professional experience.

“I’ve been through the process of buying my first home, upgrading to the next home, and now facing the reality of downsizing as a soon-to-be empty nester,” she says. “I feel like I can relate to a large group of where my clients are in life.”

Melissa also has a lifelong understanding of the local real estate market. She was raised in Conroe, Texas, lived about an hour away during high school and college, then returned and began her current career. The work agrees with her; she enjoys meeting new people and forging long-term friendships with clients. She says, “I love helping people with their dreams, whether it’s buying their dream home, their first home, or selling their current home to move closer to grandkids, etc. I just love to check in on my clients to see how things are going.”

When she’s off the clock, Melissa volunteers with the National Charity League, youth programs at her church, and Street Reach Ministries in Memphis, where she spends a week in the summer running a vacation Bible school for kids. She loves children, being on the lake, and planning and decorating parties for friends and family.
